Forty-two men made the decision to join the Society of Jesus this year in the United States. They arrived, bags in hand, at the Jesuit novitiates in Culver City, California; Grand Coteau, Louisiana; Berkeley, Michigan; Syracuse, New York; and Portland, Oregon.
